The last 2 days I've been feeling like im high with no drugs what so ever my anxiety is terribly bad I just can't handle it sometimes I got this symptom called derealization its so scary and over whelming I can't get my mind off of it because it's always there I dwell on it I feel like something bad is wrong with me as if im loosing it. Am I alone here? This is terrible I'm on lexapro 10 mg as of now. Will this go away? I'm a 18 your old male with to precious boys. I also have dizziness constantly I get light headed I feel tired. Someone please leave a comment an kinda explain this to me please... I'm finding it sooooo hard to cope its not even funny I'm depressed...:( :( :( it's almost not bareable anymore it's been about 18 days since all these symptoms started. I've been to the doctor an er they keep saying it's anxiety please someone please give me so comfort or answers I'm begging you. I'M SO DEPRESSED ABOUT IT

What country are you in? I know your anxiety is very hard to deal with, believe me I know, but you have some magical thinking going on here about meds. Sometimes they help, sometimes they don't, and they are hard to take and stop taking. That's why usually you get started with therapy to see if first they can't get you to desensitize yourself to thinking everything is going to fall apart if you feel anxious. If you need meds, they're there, but you're feeding it by the way you're thinking. If you need the meds, you need them, but don't ever stop trying to solve the problem. Good luck.
No my doctor refered me to a psychiatrist I went an they told me I would have to go through 3 weeks of counseling an then sit on a waiting list witch could take up to 2 months before I ever see psychiatrist I told them I can't wait that long because I need some meds to help me my anxiety is so bad.
