Just wanted to update my situation

Just wanted to update my situation a bit.  For some reason yesterday I got it in my head that my heart was fine and it was only speeding up because of my anxiety about it.

So I tried walking up the stairs  - Heart rate 128bpm
Ran up the stairs - heart rate 130's
ran down and back up finally got it to 150bpm

I kept telling myself the whole time my heart is normal and its going to do what it should do.  now normally just walking up slowly would bring my heart rate up to 180bpm!!  I'm assuming this is all anxiety then?

Today I can walk up the stairs and my heart rate is about 120bpm and standing up or slow walking my heart rate is between 90-110bpm.

If I had pots or innapropriate tachycardia would it have episodes where it wouldnt effect me?  Because I feel great all of the sudden, like a switch flipped and my heart is acting normal again!

2 things that I changed the past 2 days is i took a really hot bath yesterday and today which I never do and I drank about double the water I normally drink.

I just stood up and it went from 92 to 109, that sounds pretty normal doesen't it?

now it seems all I need to do is to stop checking my pulse every 10 min.
I hope it stays like this, I need to keep it in my head that i'm ok and its all in my head

Don't make me come over there. Everything -EVERYTHING- is in our heads, at least in terms of what we think and feel. And because of that, what we are thinking and feeling -even if hidden from us, has MUCH to do with the phsyical symptoms: tail wags dog -badda-bing!

I don't know how that bath and double water thing works, but it WORKS.  But here's the main thing: you have seen that your heart rate can respond to a more "normal" pace. Somehow, you DID it, and that's way cool.

So NOW, if ever there was a reason to stop checking -you've got the reason. Give yourself a vacation from it -you've earned it!
