Yes I to have a phobia of medication because of side effects. I also freak out about taking vitamins and advil together because I am afraid that the will interact and I will have a really bad reaction to them.
I agree that Anxiety stinks!!!
If there is such a thing, a phobia of taking pills, I have that as well!!!!!! I am afraid of taking a tylenol. I was prescribed efflexor and I called an ambulance 30 minutes after taking it becuase I thought I was going to faint. Come to find out the doctor prescribed me to many mgs to start off with and It was a shock to my system. I was then prescibed ativan and I can't take it! I have anxiety just thinking about taking one. I am afraid I will lose the little control that I have left and I don't want to feel different. Good luck!!! I keep saying that I am going to sit at my doctors everyday (all day) for a week while I take the medicine, that way if I have a bad reaction, there is medical help. Anxiety....it stinks!

Depersonalization and derealiazation are real. I have experienced it with my anxiety and it is awful. The first thing you need to know is that you are not alone. Everyone on this forum has been dealing with anxiety in one way or another and we understand what you are going through.
I think you should go see your dr for a physical and complete bloodwork up just to rule out anything medical for the cause of your anxiety (i.e. thyroid, vitamin defiencies, etc). If everything comes back o.k. then you should consider seeing a psychatrist.
A psychatrist would be able to help you get to the root of what is causing your anxiety and teach you coping skills. Also try keeping a journal because sometimes just getting those feelings out on paper is helpful.
Make sure you are getting enough sleep and exercise and make sure you are eating right.
Keep posting here because like I said we understand. I hope you start feeling better soon....
