pains and aches with anxiety

Hi everyone.

I keep getting pains and aches in so many parts of my body. The pains are usually sharp and can be anywhere on my body like my chest, head, ankle, shoulder, leg, eye, finger. You name it ive had a pain there.

Does anyone else get this? Does anyone know the scientific reason as to how anxiety would cause this.

Its so rubbish! Why oh why do i have to feel it.
Before this all started the only pain i felt was a sore throat when i had a cold! Now i haave pains everywhere!

hiya! omg i have the exact same thing! i know its caused by my anxiety because i never got it before i had anxiety and now its constant every day randomly and like u said, everywhere. i dont know what causes it either and i REALLY want to know. i know anxiety releases an an excess of andrenaline into your body, and the pain to me feels like its in my veins and because its sort of a throbbing pain i think it is. so ive always thought it was maybe adrenaline flowing through your body. im going to check out what that other person suggested "fibromyalgia" i hope it can finally answer all my questions, if it doesnt turn out to be that, and you do manage to find out what it is coukd you please let me know? il do the same! good luck! xxx

It could be anxiety, and also "fibromyalgia" lots of people with anxiety also have fibromyalgia.  Go on the fibromyalgia board and see if anybody there has the same symptoms you have.
