I have never been on the brand name but have been through all generics. I did some research on the fillers you can find them on Drugs.com . And Actavis EL is what i had and the only difference is one chemical the brand name is Lactose and the generic is Lactose Mono hydrate, the rest of the Excipients or inert chemicals are the same. I have found TEVA is second best. MYLAN i have found MANY people with HUGE issues with them like they aren't even taking them at all... It took me a while to convince my doc this is a phenomenon but what is happening is the generics have to prove that after a certain period of time the same about of Clonezapam is in your system. Well that means that the excipients (innerts) may make the drug dissove differently in your system. TH
The Actavis I can dissolve under my tongue 100% and Teva im left with a hard chunk....
my problem is finding a pharmacy that's open past 7 that carries my generics ... Actavis.. - No Insurance
I'm thinking just switching to Xanax generic if my doc will let me
Anyway GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE IT ALL WORKS OUT> = )
I don't know anything about Medicare since I'm from Canada. If Medicare pay for the brand name then go back to the pharmacy and get the brand name. If they don't pay then it's your choice to pay, maybe they can cover some of the price.

Thank You for your response. I ust got it filled 5 days ago so I have to deal with it. I'm on Medicare and medicare can I get the brand if I have this insurance. Also I have a refill what should I do? Thanks again for your help
No it may not be in your head. When a drug have been out long enough the other companies can make a generic of the drug. It's like a copyright law for music which is 50 years but in the pharmaceutical business it is 20 years. When a drug have been on the market for 20 years the drug is available to any labs and they can make generic of the drug. While the chemical you get is the same there are sometimes subtle difference especially regarding the quality of the product.
For example not so long ago someone had a problem when both the OP and a relative were switched from Effexor to a generic from Israel. They both experienced the drug wasn't doing the trick anymore. You bet, the Israel generic was way cheaper...
I suggest you go back on the good old brand name Klonopin. You have the right to ask for a brand name instead of a generic.
