lightheaded help

hello, 20 year old male.. I have been lightheaded for over a month now, literally out of work doing nothing but lay at home. I am lightheaded 24/7 like I'm going to faint, especially when I try to walk around! I've been drinking plenty of water so im not dehydrated. I have a lot of headaches as well and some heart palpitations. i have been to a cardiologist who did an exam and didn't feel like it was heart related, but I get some heart pain and I'm not sure if that is related or its myself scaring myself into thinking my heart hurts. Ive never had anxiety issues before, but I'm getting into a doctor soon where I will mention that because i have heard of similar anxiety related symptoms, it is a very scary feeling and hard to deal with. please help

I'm new to this website so I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, but what you're going through sounds very similar to my situation. I've always suffered from anxiety my whole life but just over 3 weeks ago it was like everything snapped and I became lightheaded and it hasn't gone away, even now, 3+ weeks later I wake up each day lightheaded and I pretty much spend my days in bed watching netflix. I've had to stop going to my job for the time being and I'm taking time off school because there's just no way to really think and concentrate while feeling light headed everyday. It's quite scary and just plain annoying as well. I see a therapist every other week (I always have due to other reasons), and I was prescribed an anti anxiety/depression medication (Cipralex). It has helped a little bit. I used to not be able to get out of bed and I couldn't eat, but now I can get out and walk about my house.

I'm not sure if what you're going through is the same as me, but I know anxiety can do weird things to your body, and scary things too! But anxiety itself isn't dangerous, although it may seem that way. I don't know what else to say other than I wish you the best and I hope you and I are feeling better soon! You're not alone.

uhm I don't think so really. I'm honestly so lightheaded at all times that it's hard for me to stand up long enough to make a sandwich. I try to have my girlfriend do stuff like that for me because I feel like I'll faint if I try

not anemic and normal blood sugar..  both cardiologistI and neurologist have done physical exams and all they could come up with was migranes which it doesn't seem to be to me considering that my headaches are not that Is the 24/7 lightheadedness that bothers me

Have you ever been checked for "anaemia"? at all like it sounds like you may be low on iron:? if not get your blood sugers checked hun as slight possibility of low sugar legals as in diabetes|?

yes I have been checked for vertigo before and that wasn't it, the room doesn't spin just gets blurry like I'm going to faint. I get good exercise, plenty of sleep and a good diet. I suppose it could be stress related but I didn't feel stressed before this started happening. Im just really hoping its an easy fix so I can stop suffering everyday.

Hi there, you are a young boy and have got yourself checked out for the most scariest thing possible meaning heart related and the doctor did not pick up on anything around that area of your life, so therefore hun, take it from me and I am in no way medically equipted but have a life long experience of 42 years of anxiety related seriouses and none of them proved that it was the heart either hun, it is most like just anxiety brought on by pure stress and nothing more sinister.. let us know how you are getting on xx

I was recently to a neurologist who did an exam and assumed it was migranes which it could be but I'm lightheaded 24/7! couldn't it be a combo of the both??  I feel like it's somthing more serious cause I always feel like I'm gunna faint and it's a terrifying feeling. is it normal to get some heart pain from either of them? just scared I'm gunna croak over one day because the doctor can't fix it

See a neurologist to rule out anything else, but it's probably related to your anxiety. Dizziness/lightheadedness and anxiety go hand-in-hand.
