Hey there
I've been having constant shortness of breath for 6 months.
Doctors do think it is anxiety.
Try doing the 4-7-8 breathing.
Psychologists use it all the time.
Breath in on a count to four, hold it for seven, and slowly exhale to eight counts.
It helps relax, but wouldn't help breathing problems.
Talk to your psychiatrist (or get one) and meds should slowly help.
Good luck!

It can be. alot of the time i feel like i cant get the last bit of breath in, like i need to yawn kind of or sometimes ill start to panic about it and feel like i can hardly breath at all. Thats when the xanax is nice to have :) . My doctor said it could be because im a shallow breather and to practice controlled breathing which is inhale for four counts, hold it for four counts, and then exhale for four counts. This is sometimes helpful!
