cj29 is absolutely right about it being a great thing that you joined this forum. It really does help ease the anxiety JUST to know that you are not alone....by a long shot!
Everyone has different symptoms but you will find that the majority of them that you are having can be found within the questions and comments throughout this forum.
My best advice to you is find a medication that works for you AND get counseling. The two combined will work wonders for you.
Good luck!
After my first panic attack three years ago I thought I was dying from a heart attack and ran to the hospital to find out I was okay. It went downhill from there and was back in the ER multiple times and saw multiple docs and was reassured my heart was going to tick for alot longer. First and foremost, go to your doctor tell him/her your concerns and listen to his/her opinion.
As far as coping with anxiety not only can it be done, you can THRIVE with the condition. I went to therapy and went on some meds and the combonation proved quite beneficial. Understanding this cycle of thinking will help tremendously. Also, I suggest joining this forum because there are many people here that have gone and are going through the exact same thing you are experiencing.
