So.........are you being retested following the time line with the proper testing intervals?
Natually it depends on a great many things, things I don't know, but unless you engaged in some seriously risky behaviour, it's quite unlikely you aquired HIV. It is much more difficult to contract than most people think. Apparently you DID engage in some form of risky sex and you're paying the price for that lapse in judgement now. I'm sure you'll be fine...............and much smarter.
My feet sometimes tingle when I get out of bed............it's most probably just the position you sleep in that causes it. I'm not an expert on HIV symptoms, but I'm sure the folks on the HIV forum have given you excellent advice which you should listen to. They know.
What you have to do now is wait and that is going to be extremely difficult and anxiety provoking, but you're just going to have to deal with it. Sorry, I know that sounds harsh, but we make our own beds............Perhaps your doctor could give you a mild antianxiety med to help you through this time........but ditch it as soon as you get your results!
Which I hope you will inform us of.
We all wish you the very best.
Peace

Sorry peenut but you are experiencing HIV Anxiety thats all
OK.......so NOW we know that these sensations all over your head and face are "weird." I'm afraid I'm still in the dark as to what that means. Are you talking numbness, pain, electric type jolts, pressure, a squeezing sensation........define in real terms this "weirdness" as best you can. Anxiety CAN cause all of the feelings I have listed above, and more. Are any of those what you're feeling, or is it something even "weirder?"
The hot flash is no doubt what Caveman explained. A surge of adrenalin will cause flushing, which produces a hot feeling and redness.
And you're now saying the nausea is gone, apparently due to both the Lexapro and antibiotics for a sore throat?
So we are left with some "weird" head sensations. I'm taking a wild guess here that they are being caused either by your body adjusting to the Lexapro, anxiety or a combination of both. If they continue to bother you, you need to get back with your doctor and discuss it. Wish I could have helped you more. Hopefully your doctor will understand what "weirdness" means.
Peace

Not to interupt your conversation but I get those alot. The first one I had scared the hell out of me. It shot all over my back and into my chest it was crazy. The last one I had was all that plus in my face. I think it is all aderaline rushing through your body like a panic attack. The advice I would give is don't let it scare you just sit down or stand up and breathe until it passes you will get the hot flash then probably a cold sweat which will make you feel nausea. I know it ***** but you will be fine. Hope this helps
The sensation like a weird feeling allover my face the was for one day..The hot flashes like a fireball being thrown at my forehead...the nausea was all day food was tasteless..it all went away after lexapro and some antiobiotics for a throat infection
Why don't you explain, in a bit more detail, the symptoms you are experiencing. Explain what the sensations "all over your face and head" feel like. How often does it happen? Do the hot flashes always happen at the same time? And the nausea........when does that happen?
I could write out a mile long list of the symptoms of anxiety, but I don't want to put ideas into your head. Just tell us everything YOU are feeling.
