stress and anxiety

i have noticed when i have less stressors i am content and my anxiety is low, that is why i avoid everything, its like my body cant handle everyday stress. i get agitated and irritable very easily. i tried eating better and exercising, i take a antidepressant and kratom at night to sleep. whenever i have to take a trip or something i constantly worry about not sleeping well and have a fear of being depressed. i start worrying about the event a week in advance. its like a cycle that wont stop.

thanks for the response, yeah i am trying to get a hold of stress and strangle it, i know that meditation works but sometimes its hard to concentrate.  one time a meditated my way out of agitation, i was on mushrooms though. controlling your mind is very possible with meditation and it also eliminates bad physical sensations.

I can relate very well to what you experience.  Anxiety/depression can easily lead to 'avoidance behavior' where we cease doing the things that precipitate 'flare ups' in our illness.   Before you know it we don't want to even leave the house any longer.  You are right, it's a nasty cycle.
I have come to understand that it's not life's stressors that's the problem, it's the inability to cope with them that is the problem.  It's a disability I have and it's not controllable by thought in any way, at least for me.  Everyone is different and the hard thing about anxiety is that it's so different for different people.  
the key is finding the treatment that allows you to lead as normal a life as you can despite it.
Like using a wheelchair if you can't walk.  No one would ever want to use one but it sure beats being confined to a bed or chair all the time.  
Do whatever you can to find that treatment and don't allow the fear that is this illness stand in your way.
