strong uv rays

Hi Sir,
This is Nipun Murarka here.3 days back i was driving my car and halted near a signal.Suddenly a big Suv with very strong lights(Xenon lights) flashed its headlights on me purposely during evening hours.the guy was coming from the wrong direction.i blanked out due to the powerful headlight and hit the divider.Since then am getting headaches and my eyes are not able to concentrate.I have heard from an xpert that the new  xenon headlights emit very strong uv rays like that of the sun and can severely damage the eyes.please through light as to what should i do.I am from India.

I don't like those new headlights either. I find them terribly distracting and they hurt my eyes, too, but I've never had the reaction you're talking about. Is it possible when you hit the divider, that you also hit your head? In any case, I would strongly urge you to see an opthamologist to check for any eye damage and discuss the headaches.
