Thank you, yes. I felt them coming on today and fought them away. That's how you know that they are not heart attacks. You have to be mindful of them. I think I failed to adhere to my own warning of, never forget how your panic attacks felt. Do not dwell on them, but if you forget them then one can sneak back up on you.
Those are very typical symptoms when it comes to anxiety/panic. It's not that doctors don't "understand" it, it's just that there is no physical or medical reason for it when it is related to anxiety, so there is nothing they can "find" per se. Once the relating anxiety is addressed, the anxiety-related symptoms will start to improve. I think you just need to try to be patient, these processes aren't easy, especially during the adjustment phase of a med change.
It is not uncommon to have an increase in anxiety while you are making medication changes. Just keep the lines of communication open with your doctor, tell her how you're feeling, especially if the side effects worsen.
Hang in there!
Yes I ve same feelings too n no doctor understands it why???
It's like someone takes something heavy and drops it on my chest. This happened at work on Thursday. No pain or anything and it goes away after my panic attack does.
Why u felt like it's a heart attack?
