Agreed, alchohol will most likely cause a very severe reaction that could include a type of induced psychosis until the effects of the booze are withdrawn. (voice of experince)
As far as mary jane is concerned,, Iv read that when inhaled during treatment with SSRI's , it can potentially cause a severe crash of the blood pressure. I dont know this for a fact but I have read it on other messageboards elsewhere.
*may you stay safe and well*
I know it sounds harsh but I am certain that anyone on medication of the nature you describe should under no circumstances drink alcohol. If you read the instrucions for taking your medication you were prescribed I'm sure you'll see for yourself that this is strongly emphasised.
Why aggravate your anxiety with alcohol at all? When your meds say "Avoid Alcohol", well that would lead me to believe that ANY amount of alcohol is "dangerous". If you really are asking yourself these questions, then you really need to think long and hard about the role alcohol is playing in your life and how it may be exacerbating your problems.
And I say this as a person who is struggling DAILY to avoid alcohol, especially during my hightened time of anxiety. If makes me feel a whole lot better when I get sh*tfaced. I forget all about my anxiety and panic for the night, but the next day.....ugh. My panic comes backs 10-fold and sets me back a good 2-3 months.
Do yourself a favor and avoid the alcohol please.
As far as the other stuff goes.....it's always made me paranoid/anxious when I use it, so I don't know why someone with anxiety would choose to use it.
