Ok so who found therapy helpful?

I am starting to see a PhD on Monday for my panic attacks and anxiety!  She claims she can help I am very skeptical.  But i'll try anything at this point along with my medication.

Seeing a therapist is the MOST important, and quite frankly, the smartest thing you can do with this.  In my experience, long term relief can only be achieved by confronting and learning about it...which your PhD will help you do.  Just ensure you give it time though...there will be no magical 'cure' overnight.  I am also a big proponent of medication as long as it is combined with talk therapy...you are doing the right thing in my book...keep us posted!
