Well, the dose is much smaller than what my doc prescribed. He prescribed 1 mg. .25 is probably the lowest you can go but I am not a doctor so don't rely on my advice. I just think that you are taking it properly..."as needed basis only".
Take care.
thanks for the advice - when i take even that low of a dose, i fall asleep!! i must be a light weight! (1 glass of wine does me in too! lol) i am glad you think that the dose is ok, i worried when i saw all the postings on "stay away from xanax"
I have to work more to lessen my stress- to pay the taxes!!
have a good one-

No I don't take Xanax. But I was given a prescription for it. Then I found out on this site how addictive it is, so I stopped taking it after 3 times. I got a prescription for Klonopin. It's also addictive but it lasts longer. Klonopin is really for long term use and not for "as needed use". I don't take more than 1 mg/day and never more than say 3 days in a row because I don't want to develop a dependency. I take it as needed because I like the way Klonopin makes me feel compared to Xanax. Klonopin is gentler and more subtle. Xanax gives me a strange buzzed feeling. I think the dose that you are taking and the way you are taking it, is fine. Just don't take it everyday!
Well, hope your stress goes away.
Take care.
Hi
i did just post, and i was up so late because i just got back from vacation and I was doing laundry and stuff. lol! i don't take Xanax on a regular basis, I take .25 mg every so often- not daily, when I start to feel a panic attack coming on that i know i can't head off. Do you take Xanax?
I am up now - but I think this is my stress level now! (have alot on my mind!)
Did you just post? Why are you up so late? Wait...why am I up so late? :)
Xanax is very addictive. Should only be used on an as needed basis.
Good night.
whatever you do...don't take xanax for it !!
Yes, it is normal to have the unreal feeling, especially when you are in the throngs of an attack!
The fullness happens too, when you are in the panic/anxiety attack too. You have to try to talk yourself out of it, deep belly breath and change what you are thinking to a different subject/idea.
It is really hard to do, but just keep trying, we have all been there.
is it normal to have the unreal feelin all the time...like everyday when you have an anxiety disorder?? and does anyone ever get fullness feelings in the head???
I take CLA and there are two types - there is one w/a stimulant and one that is just straight CLA. I truly believe in vitamin and herbal supplements. I am a registered nurse of 15 years and have asked numerous doc's about the supp's I take and a nutritionist, and as long as there aren't any things that are going to cause you a problem and you are taking them in proper dosing, then they you can take them. Doc's most of the time aren't into vitamins and supplements, they would rather prescribe med's that can actually help in one way and harm your body in another (i.e. cause liver, GI problems, etc..)
I have not heard of anyone having a reaction or a negative benefit to CLA, as long as it isn't the one w/the stimulant in it. Just my opinion! take care!!
I am no expert, however Have you read the ingredients on the label. My Doctor has said if you don't know what the ingredients are like, aspertame, sodium glucose, words like that , then you should not eat it, this will include any processed, or supplements. He also says you should get all your vitamins and minerals from food. I realize this is tough to do. This is how I lost 38 pds, the safe way. It's hared but extremely the safe way, and the healthyiest, especially since I have health anxiety. Hope this helps. Good luck!
i agree but cla has no stimulants in it. its actually proven to treat diabetes and prevent blood clot. it has no side effects. it helps keep fat off, not burn it like fat burning pills do -that have tons of **** in them
If you are suffering from ANYTHING, why would you take any over the counter ****? I am not judging you, but feeling well is more important than body fat! Just my two cents!!
well i didnt mean that it gives muscle mass..... i meant that it helps cut fat but safely. it has no stimulants or anything in it. every where i have read about it says that its a cure for diabetes and i have not heard anything about it causing cardiovascular problems.....im not trying to cheat or take the easy road to weight loss.... im just trying to keep the fat down.... and yes i dont eat much fat any ways but i guess it helps the process of eliminating fat... and ryan... i trust your advice....BUT... before i completely discard this stuff or stop taking it will u find pin pointed evidence that it could do someone like me harm?
and as for xanax... its 0.5 and i was on it with my old doctor prescribed for me to take it 3 times a day as needed. now my new doctor put me back on it(since i went right off of it) and prescribed me to take it once every day.... and i get afraid to take it early in the morning right when i wake up because i dont want want to fall asleep on the drive to work cuz its about a 25 minute drive
i just started taking C.L.A. saturday night
Yes, that detached feeling is horrible. The only advice I can give is to continue about your day and try not to focus on it. I know that it is very very hard to ignore, but the more you think about it, the worse it will be. Don't try to fight the feeling and worry about it. Just accept it and move on, that will help to make it dissipate. Like I said, very very hard to ignore and not to worry about, but in time and day by day, it will get better if you just keep on with your life and not fight it.
This is one of the symtoms of anxiety or panic attacks. I myself have this detached feeling when I get attacks. Are you under a doctors care ? This and all other symtoms are treatable. Trust me I know. Jim
