i agree one can medicate all one wants that is why I suggested a therapist. The two can work together.Sometimes we need a good medication to get us through the rough spots. The cause is definitely the answer. For me it took the better part of my life before repressed memories came to surface.Anxiety really doesn't ATTACK it sure does feel like it because of the way it comes on.Just keep working on what you think may be causing it. A diary is always a good way to let out your feelings but also a way to keep track of anxiety maybe you might find a link. Peace love and light Ivy
Just found this second post and now your other post makes sense.
If you want your life back, if you want the anxiety to stop, then I agree 100% with the advice of ivgirl which is to get into therapy. You can medicate your symptoms all you want, but until you find the cause of your anxiety, you will never be truly recovered and at peace.
Like anything in life that is worth having, we must work very hard at it.
I wish you nothing but the best
Peace

Brandy have you thought of seeing a therapist to talk trough some of your anxiety issues. After years of suffering and medicating all the wrong ways I found the root causes of my anxiety. It helps one overcome. Know in your heart you are stronger than you think, There is always a safe calm place inside you.Finding it is the trick. Believe it is there.Start to look for the peace that is inside each of us. You too. You are strong. You are coping now. Maybe not the way you want to be but you are coping.
