worried 17 year old HELPP

yeah, so I am a bit nervous, I havent been to the doctor, but I still have trouble breathing it seems like, after my "anxiety attack" happened about 3 months ago.

I have a wierd feeling in my chest, almost like butterflys...

a bit of stomech pain, and sometimes I have pain radiating from my right arm to my left, and theres almost like a pressure feeling in my chest... on the left side, sometimes the pain shifts to the right side.

Yeah, I noticed when I got up this morning, my heart was racing, and I had a bit of trouble catching my breath.

I keep finding myself trying to inhale as much air as possible also.

Trying to take it in and then kind of sigh...

Before my "attack" happened, I never had that problem, but ever sence then, its just been insane.

I try to take my mind off of it, but its really hard.

I dont have a family history of heart conditions or anything...
My mother sometimes goes through anxiety issues as well.

This whole thing is just so inconvienient, and I really dont like it.

Its hard to take your mind off it expecially when youve never had to go to the hospital for anything ever in your life.

I have never had a broken bone, or anything that has gone wrong with my body, EVER.

so I really dont know.

i had one about a month ago and i agree with wmac about the rebound effect. after that anxiety attack every little feeling in your body makes you worry, like you are hyper aware of your body.  So i know how you feel cause im the same way. i noticed this morning after i slept through the whole night that i felt better. im also trying to do other things to occupy my time so i wont think about it as much. lol im 20 but i still play pokemon and stuff and i have a kid coming next month that im excited about. but doing things to not think of it as much helps because u dont work yourself up as much during the day. good luck .

I think that your anxiety attack scared you so much that your kinda like having rebound affects. I know when im having anxiey sometimes I dont even know it but I get chest pains alot of stomache pains etc. It sounds like stress more than anything. Although I do have chostochrondritis which is arthritis in my ribs and joints and cartlidge and it hurts alot but when im stressing it really acts up also it could be pluresy. To be on the safe side you should have it checked out though.

Most likely anxiety considering your age...however, heart conditions do not discriminate.  Go and have a complete physical by your doctor.  I do not want to make you nervous, because all those symptoms CAN be anxiety, but you need to make sure.  Best to you.
