I see that inhaled steroids have been recommended by a doctor. I was taking Advair (an inhaled steroid) and it not only seriously affected my health, but made my lung condition worse. In February the FDA warned against this product saying it should only be used when nothing else helps, and, even then, should only be used short-term. I am now on natural anti-inflammatories and mucolytics (mucus thinners) and I have fewer breathing problems and no side effects. Steroids can harm your adrenals (I developed adrenal fatigue), your immune system, and your bones. It caused me to almost choke to death. That was the end of steroids for me.

For cough:
make half a glass of onion juice and warm the juice,
add ginger powder and honey,
and drink it slowly.
This will help the cough.
Do not eat banana when you have cough.

You should see a dr.  It could be asthma as for some people the different breathing patterns of talking will trigger an attack.  It could also be vocal cord dysfunction though (very benign and treated with speach therapy).  You might want to do some research on that one before heading to your dr, print what you find and take it to him/her.  A lot of drs have never heard of it.

Take care.
