adhd\speech delay\autism

hi
i have  a 4 yearold healthy littleboy.he ia going to prschool 5 days a week.

my son started to say words at the age of 3years 6 months now he is 4 years 3 months.with in these 9 months he learned like hunderds of words and spelling, phonics. and also he started reading himself kindergarten books.he knows his colours, shapes, alphabets, counting, and  he is learining additions himself by lookin g at the chart.

but he is not sitting still in the school in circle time, sometimes not listing to teacher, would not finish the task fully, when teacher calls his name he is not paying attention, less eye contact in the school and in the home.

my big concern is he is repeting what he saw in tv and games, when he is bored ,still he is afraid of some sounds like very loud.not for the mixer, vaccum etc
is this the sign for autitsm or some thing else.

I would look into sensory integration disorder as well.  Processing problems can also cause these issues including speech problems.  Motor planning is necessary for organizing speech and  for organizing play.  An occupational therapist usually gives a diagnosis of sensory processing disorder.  If you are interested in more info, let me know.  good luck

Not necessarily. One of my little nephews had problems with the mixer, vacuum, whistle at school etc. We found out that he is very auditory and noises bother him. Now his 8 and he is getting better at tolerating noises. He is also been diagnosed with ADHD. He has always had problems sleeping, he was a nervous baby. My suggestion is to get him tested for pretty much everything. That way you will know how to help him. He sounds very smart to me. Keep me posted. Good luck.
