It's been 5 years! Autoimmune disease?

Hi! I need help and I was wondering if you all could help me. I have had an unknown illness for 5 years now. I am a 20 year old female. My birthday is 4/9/1991 and my BP is 100/70. When I was 16 years old I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome. Then when I was 19 I started having serious bowel problems and I had a colonoscopy and the doctor just said it came back negative and I probably have IBS. Then about a week or two ago I went to an endrocrinologist and she said that my thyroid was enlarged and she called for bloodwork which of course came back normal. Oh I also had viral meningitis in may. I went for a thyroid ultrasound today so hopefully they can make a diagnosis.

So here are my symptoms that I have been experiencing:

Weight gain/cannot lose weight (I work out 8 hours a week. I'm a taekwondo athlete and I'm 5'1 and 143 pounds)
Hair Loss
Dry skin
Brittle Nails
Irregular periods
Constipation (but then it comes out as super loose stool)
Bloating
Gas
Mouth sores (frequent)
Neck pain (severe and frequent)
Joint pain
Enlarged thyroid
Headaches (frequent)
Sciatica
Pelvic pain
Irregular periods (even though my polycystic is well under control. I have no cysts currently)
IBS symptoms
Depression
TIRED all the time. I sleep so much and never feel rested
Brain fog and confusion
A persistent fever that has gone on for the past 3 days (99-101)

I'm not sure if I forgot anything but I'll post again if I did. I dont know whats wrong! Please help.

I'd check out autoimmune disease Lupus and vitamin B12 deficiency. Many of your symptoms are listed under both. Have you had your ANA (anti nuclear antibody) tested? Over 95% with Lupus have a positive ANA.  If you have had your B12 serum levels tested, check to make sure you are optimal - over 800pg/mL or 600pmol/L. A urinary methylmalonic acid (UMMA) test is more accurate. Methylmalonic acid rises just 10 days after a B12 deficiency starts.

So my ANA titer came back as super high 1:1280 nucleolar and my DHEA is really low at 59L. Hopefully the rheumologist will be able to help.

Thank you so much Red_Star! My ANA came back as highly positive. I am making an appointment for a rheumatologist right now.

So I just got the results back from my ultrasound from the diagnostic center, my doctor decided to go on vacation -_-. It said that my thyroid was normal but that my parenchyma was mildly inhomogeneous. Which I have no idea what that means and my endo wont be back till monday. I just got blood drawn to test for lupus so hopefully I'll get some answers within the next week.

Hi! My endocrinologist said I tested negative for Hashimoto's. My anitbodies were 10< on my results. Also for TSH I came back as 1.45. All within normal ranges :(. So hopefully by Thursday I'll get the results of my ultrasound.

Some of your symptoms sound like thyroid problems.  Perhaps Hashimoto Thyroiditis.

Please keep us posted.
