Thanks for responding. I am 29... I am over weight but I have lost 37 lbs so far and am continuing with my adventure to drop more weight. I am currently on hydroxicloquin, topamax, and xopomax as needed. As for the xopomax I develop asthma last yr also when I got really sick. That when my body decided to go down hill for me. I most say since I lost the weight I have been feeling a little better but my chest pains are killing me. I had another one bother me yesterday while I was at work. Not sure if there is anything else needed for me. If soo let me know .
Hi and welcome to the forum.
ANA tests are inconclusive and often inaccurate.
There's not much difference between the 2 results if you understand the
test methodology. Your first negatives where 1:360 and 1:280
Lower numbers are insignificant. Higher numbers in older patients are also less significant.
The fact is that you have some auto-antibodies present that indicate that you "may" have
an autoimmune condition.
There are many other conditions and infections -not autoimmune conditions- where ANA tests are positive.
There are prescription drug induced ANAs as well.
You doctor needs to do further specific subset testing (to attempt) to diagnose properly.
Nevertheless, etiology, given the symptoms you described, cannot necessarily be fully explained by obtaining a diagnosis.
For a recommended approach, regarding your situation,
please post at the alternative therapies ( in this forum) or message me directly.
A brief medical history, including dietary habits, age, physical and emotional traumas
and any meds would be helpful.
Blessings
