I am 33 years old, and can openly admit, overweight. There is a catch, I have perfect cholesterol, great blood pressure, and no health issues that my normal PCM can find. I have even been told that I am the healthiest fat person he has ever met.
But I have suffered 3 TIAs, or so I've been told. I have been through every test for a stroke on my heart and brain and there is no damage. The "strokes" happened approximately 1 year apart and the lasting symptoms for about a month. Except this time the effects are still there after 3 months. How is this possible or is it?
Symptoms from all "strokes": numbness, weakness, and pain on the left side, shaking of hands and uncontrollable movement, muscle spasms in back and left leg, burning sensation in leg, extreme skin sensitivity all over, sensitivity to light, some headaches, unsteady balance and exhaustion.
I am working with my PCM and have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon, rheumatologist, and neurologist; but am hoping for some possible insight before hand so I know what questions to ask.
Thank you for any help!!
