I am so sorry you are feeling bad. I too have kidney disease and it *****! I hope you find out very soon what is causing it. Sounds like they are on the right track. Do they think your kidney problems are autoimmune related? That was the first sign of disease for me....I'm sure they will find something. Hope you feel better soon. Have a wonderful Christmas.
thank you. i do have a kidney disease.with a chornic infection.i have been having mussel.pain for almost 3 years.now for the 5 months joint pain in my hands and wrist. i am very tired with mussel weekness too. thank you.
Yeah 31 is mildly high, could be a sign of inflammation. ANA is a test for anti nuclear antibodies. People with autoimmune disease may or may not have a high ANA. Someone else on this forum could tell you specifically what ANA AB is. I know I have had that done, but I can't remember if it is for scleroderma, or sjogren's or Lupus. I am sure someone will comment on that. Sounds like you are going down the right path, seeing a specialist. Don't be surprised if you don't find out anything right away. It can be very frustering, but it take a while to get a diagnosis. They will run a whole battery of blood tests, biggest thing is not to get worried. Just keep in good communication with your doctor. I always ask for a copy of my results and compare them with others. Be proactive in your health...hope this helps.....have a great holiday!
PS...There is a great website to check out if you have questions about your blood work
www.labtestsonline.org. They explain in detail about different blood test and what the results could mean.....it is very helpful.
yeah sorry that was the one test.the other test says h 31 mm/hr. but i dont get this one test anitnuclear ab screen, says h 204 the reference range [0-99] what 's this is one?i do go friday to see the rhumetologist for the first time.yeah that 7mm/hr is good but the other 2 say high. that 7mm/hr is a rheumatoid factor it says. thank you
If you are correct at the number 7mm/hr, then that is normal. Anything above 20 I believe is abnormal.
