RRMS and having pain on more than one side of body

I have recently been diagnosed with RRMS after three years of symptoms. I started out on Copaxone in October. Recently I began having pain in my right arm. My issues have always been on my left side. What should I make of this? It doesn't seem to fit classic MS. I live in Jamaica and my doctor is in the USA. I will not be able to see him for a couple of weeks yet.

Thank you for your response. We were stateside (we are missionaries in Jamaica) for a couple of weeks at Christmas and I had a scheduled visit with my neurologist. He says it is the MS. It feels exactly like the left arm with the burning pain. I know it is just another test in life and God will take care of me. I am back in Jamaica now. Thanks again for responding.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
Right arm pain can be due to multiple sclerosis itself. It can also be due to a pinched nerve root in the lower cervical or upper thoracic spine, or due to a muscle pull, or due to a ligament tear or due to unaccustomed work with the arm. Since it is a new symptom, please inform your doctor either by phone or mail, and ask for suggestions regarding tests and medications. Take care!
