I NEED ADVICE FROM A DOCTOR!!!

I really hope that I can get a Doctor's response on this! I have recently been seeing a Nephrologist for my ailments. I had a biopsy done a couple weeks ago, and was diagnosed with Glomerulosclerosis. However, my doctor(the Nephrologist) has always believed, that I have Lupus. And after he did the biopsy,(and had it sent to a mayo clinic for a second opinion), and is believed to be Glomerulosclerosis.....He still wants me to see a Rheumatologist, and get tested for Lupus. I on the other hand, don't believe that I have either. I do, however, have Proteinuria...which probably has something to do with their findings. I have done a ton of research on the internet, and believe that I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome! I am constantly tired, never have any energy, have constant dizziness when standing for too long,(which I eventually lost my job b/c of too many absences...or had to go home because I got extremely lightheaded all the time), I feel like I have the stomach flu almost everyday, and always feel weak...not to mention, I don't think I go a single day without having a horrible headache!! PLEASE HELP! Give me some info, or thoughts on what you think it may be, (if not CFS).

Hi.
Firstly i am not a doctor, but there is a doctor forum on here where you can post your question to a doctor.
Regarding thinking you have CSF, because of fatigue, dizziness, etc, then these symptoms could also be contributed to many auto-immune diseases, also , these symptoms are what people describe when they have auto-immune diseases, so dont rule out Lupus, Sjorgens, etc, etc.

What i would say to you is go and see a good rheumatologist, and have a full auto-immune antibody blood profile done, along with kidney and liver function blood tests, and full blood count, with inflammation markers, etc, etc,
Then go from there, im sure the bloodtests which the rheumatologist will perorm may pick-up an indicator to what maybe wrong.
I would also get your vitamin, D, along with B vitamins checked too,

Dont write yourself off with CSF, even though you think this might be the reason to you feeling like this.
If it is auto-immune linked, then you will need the appropiate treatment for the condition you are suffering, and trust me Lupus can be one condition which can be hard to treat. So you will need a good Lupus Specialist, to help you.

Kidney problems, can be associated to Lupus, and maybe you nephrologist has seen this before in a Lupus patient, I think your Neprologist has got your best interest at heart, and i would be shaking his hand to thank him for being efficient in his findings.
Good Luck
Nicola

Not a doctor but had proteinuria and lost a kidney.  Had the exact same symptoms for years til a new doctor took over the office.
