Mixing fish oil and Zoloft

Hi,

I have been taking liquid generic Zoloft for about five years with success.  I also take a small amount of liquid Abilify and Clonazapam.  I just started taking liquid fish oil and I think it's affecting my meds.  Could it be affecting the medication that I take?  Causing side effects?  I'm feeling angry, a little depressed and annoyed since I started doing the fish oil.  I have high cholesterol, so I want to take the the fish oil.  Does anyone have any answers or suggestions.  FYI: I don't like swallowing pills, so that's why my medication and fish oil is in liquid form.  Thanks!

Hi Juniebun46.
Hard to establish a clear link, however, cutting down  on the fish oil and then gradually increasing it might help.

It's funny, I just read a report today that shows that mortality from all causes- in 164 counties studied- DECREASES as cholesterol INCREASES!!!
What the F many would say, lol!

I was trying to show my buddy that the cholesterol lowering statins his doctor put him on-which BTW have made him into a couch potato-are doing more damage than good.

One negative thing about high cholesterol though, is it might lower vitamin D levels, so taking some extra D3 should fix that. (liquid sublingual drops to you, I guess)

Don't ditch the fish oil yet because of some side-effects which anyway cannot be attributed directly to the fish oil, or because I told you that cholesterol is good for you, lol!
Fish oils have been known to help with many mental disorders, among other health benefits.

Cheers,
Niko
