chrons, celiac, lupus I need suggestions

I have had stomach problems off and on for the last 10 years and I am now 28.  I have seen many doctors, but not a autoimmune doctor just gastro.  My colonoscopy come back fine and my upperendoscopy showed celiac.   But I have been keeping a diary of everything I eat and my syptoms keep getting worse.  If I follow the celiac diet 100% I still have severe stomach probems.  I keep asking my gastro doctor if it could be more serious than celiac, like chrons or lupus, ect  and he keeps blowing me off and not listening since I have a positive celiac test result.  Even following the celiac diet I could eat rice and a grilled chicken breast and end up in the bathroom in 20 mins with severe stomach cramps, sweats, and explosive stools with blood.  I have also had problems with my joints, my vision, hair loss, and just don't have energy sometimes.  I am tired of going to the doctor and them just blowing me off.  Should I see a different type of doctor than a gastro.  I am not lossing weight right now but I cant eat during the work day because I never know when how my stomach will react, and I work 12 hour days.  Anybody have an answer.  Also my vision I keep getting silver lines when I cough and than a headace and its becoming more frequently,  Any suggestions would be appreciated

Well, if the problem is coming from the intestines (and your gluten free diet is truly gluten free) maybe food elimination is the way to go....to at least eliminate other foods as the culprit.  Since you have celiac disease, I'd start with eliminating all milk products along with the gluten, including butter, cream, etc.  Where there's a gluten problem, you'll often find a cow's milk problem.  Most of your immune system is along your intestines, so food is the best place to start.  I realize you said you kept a food diary - I have a friend who sent off a stool sample to test for food intolerances and allergies - she came back with many foods that she needed to avoid.   She's much better now.  If you have celiac disease, you can have other autoimmune diseases.  Stress can set off these problems.
Did they check your thyroid and if they did, do you know the results?  The list is long as to what could be the cause of your problems.  Keep searching for answers, eat healthy all the time, sleep well (if possible), get out into the sun each day, get some exercise.  Be patient wtith all the changes you make to see if they are working.  The body takes time to rebuild from the damage.  Decrease stress levels if possible.  Get rid of white flour products (even non-gluten oens), eat a diet of protein, veggies, some fruit, nuts, etc.  Stress can come in the form of food stressors (food allergies, intolerances, sugar, white flours, etc.) These things deplete the body of needed nutrients, along with emotional stress, work stress, mental, environmental stress.  Little by little, change your lifestyle if it is not optimum.  See if this alleviates or reduces your flare ups.  I hope this helps.

when I first got sick 10  years ago I started the celiac diet and ended up so sick that I was diagnosed with dysmotility of the.colon.  I was sent to mayo clinic.9 hours away.  They told me not to worry about the celaic because I just needed to concentrate on keeping food down.  I ended up lossing 90 lbs in 3 months and most of the time on iv fluids with severe constipation. after about 4 months of treatment at mayo I left with and my stomach problems gradually went away.  Then a couple years later they would come and go.  At first I thought it was my birth control that was causing it,  but now I am off birth control been on the celiac diet again for a year and am getting no relief.   The symptoms just keep getting worse

I'd suggest you get tested for Lyme and mycoplasma infections.  Best done by IGENEX labs.  You are presently caught up in a system that has no understanding.

My first question is:  how long have you been gluten free?
