exercise and MS ??

Hi! I just to have another account (gigi0123) but I forgot the password and they just wont sent me another one no matter how many times i've tried  so  I decided to create another one..

I got diagnosed with MS  5 month ago  (set 2010) I will be having my first treatment on March ... a few weeks from now . My question is if it's ok to do some kind of exercices.  Im 20 years old and all my life i've done some kind of sport  or exercices, I just to run but at the moment is too hot outside to do it so Im doing spinning clases instead of running . I do it 2 to 3 times a week  45 min each class. I really feel good doing it and the room where the class is it has a lot of air conditioner so thats not a problem and I drink a lot of liquids- but I would like to know if that's ok because obviously my body reach a high temperature when I do it. I will talk to my doctor about this because he mention that exercise its good but I dont know if this kind of exercise its too hard .. but i have my appointment  in 2 weeks so I will like some information first...

I will apreciate any kind of answer. Thanks!

I'm having a spinal tap this Friday to either conclusively confirm that I have MS or to start looking at other causes for all these strange neurological events that have been happening to me over the past several years. In all of my reading, I have not noticed any negative effects coming from combining exercise with a definitive diagnosis of MS. In fact, according to friends I have who have MS, they live productive, normal lives. Don't let MS stop you. In fac,t the exercise should be good in keeping your motor function, etc.

MS is something you'll have to deal with, of course, but don't let it define who you are. Best of luck you you in your journey.

Another thing...  like a month ago  when I did the blood tests ,  the thyroid one shown that in a scale of 0 to 4 I had 4.24 and my neuro told me that tha t it wasnt  a significantly difference and sometimes the scales change a bit in each person, well as I already said  I m going to start Rebif  in a few weeks and I wanted to know if any of you had this problem or if you know that  it could affect because of the Rebif.. Thanks..
