flu shot

I got my flu shot on Tuesday evening.  About 10 minutes after the shot my right arm(where I got the shot) and my right calf area started feeling like numb.  It still feels almost like Jelly, weak, numbness (weird feeling).  What could it be??  Thanks

Yes, by all means let your physician know, and document everything.  Might be something that will go away in time, but only time can tell.  No compensation available for vaccine injury if you wait longer than 5yrs to seek compensation.  The pharmaceutical companies wouldn't go along with making these vaccines unless the govt set up a program wherein they wouldn't have to pay for injuries, let the taxpayers foot the bill.

Note that they do not warn you about the side effects of a flu shot - they just tell you to get it. A flu shot made me sick for more than two weeks and someone I know in the medical community must have a flu shot every year as a condition of her employment. Every year she is sick for three weeks. Johns Hopkins says that vitamin D is more effective than the shot and, as we know, there are no side effects from it. Alternative medicine says to go the vitamin D route.

P.S. Sixty percent of those presenting at the ER with the flu have had the shot. Interesting since less than 50 per cent of the population is vaccinated.
