I've been dealing with Autonomic Dysfunction for the past ten years. My first diagnosis was Neurocardiogenic Syncope, but now my symptoms seem to fit in multiple Dysautonomia categories.
My first symptoms were: lightheadedness, disorientation, low blood pressure, and fainting. Over the years my symptoms have grown to also include: nausea, vomiting, high/low heart rate, low respiratory rate, low blood sugar, extreme fatigue, non-epileptic seizures, etc.
As for helpful treatments, we've posted some possible treatments in our health pages which may be helpful. What are your specific symptoms, and what have you tried?
My daughters symptoms are mainly low blood pressure, low heart rate, low blood sugar, headaches, dizziness, fainting, weakness, and occasional seizures. There are too many symptoms to list really though. Her treatment right now is Florinef, Ritalin, Midodrine, and saline hydration therapy through her PICC. I just take Florinef.
