  hey there ;)

I am thinking along w/ Christy.  I do not think that everyone has discoloration in their feet w/ POTS. Actually some people have this happen even without a dx of anything...but perhaps a minor circulation problem from standing to long?

glad that you finally got your dx though. Now you have a name and answers for what has been going on.

Take Care,

We had never noticed my sons feet/ankles turning purple until his TTT.  He doesn't really notice it, unless he is standing stationary for a while.  When he is sitting, it happens occassionally to one ankle(the left) and not so much to the other ankle.

I don't think it is a mandatory symptom to have in order to be diagnosed with POTS, just one of many possible symptoms. My son also doesn't ever faint, and his dizziness is mild compared to what I read others experience.  Everyones symptoms and severity of symptoms is different.
