prognosis for mvp

Hello.  I am a 31 year old female recently diagnosed with MVP and sinus tachycardia.  My doctor says that I should not have any symptoms from this and has prescribed Wellbutrin for anxiety attacks.  I have recently been having headaches, ringing in my ears, lightheadedness, dizziness, chest pain and a fast heart rate.  What should I do.  I am scared because I have a 2 and 4 year old that depend on me.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Although it is well documented that anxiety and MVP co-exist, it is always important to evaluate other causes for sinus tachycardia as it could represent another issue that needs to be treated. MVP is something that you should have followed by a cardiologist -- where basic tests such as an ECG and echocardiogram can be performed now and then followed on a regular basis.
