Pain in right side of back that radiates to right side of chest

I am a healthy 18 year old male with no history of medical conditions. One night, I felt pain in my lower back and chest (few days ago). This pain is felt during physical exertion and subsides with rest. I also feel like coughing, and breathing becomes laboured, during the onset of this pain. It feels like a strong pain in my back which prompts me to push my chest forward to temporarily alleviate the pain. I did an excessive amount of yelling the night of the incident, not sure if that matters. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

This could be a simple muscle pull.

Give it time, and see if it doesn't improve or go away completely on its own this week. In the mean time, rest up, don't exert yourself by playing tackle football or similar activity, and by all means, stop shouting.

If it continues or gets worse, seek medical attention.
