pinched nerve in neck

I am currently on motrin, icing and electric stimulation to try to reduce inflamed area. Progress is slow at best. Should I consult a chiropractor?

The axial traction is done several minutes, several times a day. The oral prednisone is one a day, and the  tapered down.

Electrical stimulation will only increase inflammation. Plan stupid. Who on earth suggested that? You are on the wrong train on the wrong track headed for an open drawbridge.

You require an MRI, which a chiropractor cannot provide. An x-ray is meaningless.

Generally a stronger anti-inflamatory is required (several minutes, several times a day), along with intermittitant axial traction, good hydration, and range of motion exercises.
