Lately, I have been...just, I don't know, feeling dead (empty and numb)  lately and have been doing well physically and don't know why. Oh well, I enjoyed being numb when it lasted. I am afraid of going back into that place I was a few years ago.. I don't want to be that way ever again, but I know it's unavoidable. For now, though, what can I do to make this empty-numb (in mine own word dead) feeling go away?

YOU ARE SERIOUSLY DEPRESSED, breakingapart.
Please make appt to see  psychiatrist asap and get meds checked.
I was like this for about six months and it took finding this room and a very wise, wont say their name, said he/she believed I was seriously depressed.  I have never not cared. I have passion for life. Are you sleeping the day/night away? Nothing interested me and I'd just go to bed.
Thank you for asking and hopefully you will make an appt.
Sincerely,
zzzmykids

apathy or indiffrence is one of the symptoms of depression..........
I have felt this way before too actually
you should ask your doctor about changiong your meds
Combating depression can be difficult at times I guess for me personally
these things would work
I would try my best to stay organised finish my school work clean the house
do everything that needs to get done so that so that you can feel productive and try not to let my depression worsen by doing something like oversleeping or eating junk food it also helps
to be sure and leave you house or appartment everyday It majorly helps to get sunlight
but even if you can't do that go for a walk
try making plans with friends or family maybe a lunch date or family dinner
or goto their place and watch some tv for a few hours
if all else fails
try drinking a glass of green tea and wait a little while it should
get your energy going

Speak to someone who can help you. Depression does tend to come and go and at times people feel better but it does come back. However, it can be treated. Best to seek help now from someone who could find you the specific help you need and it might be worth considering seeing a psychiatrist. They could follow up and let you know what to do.
