i have the same problem but i don't take medication
For the past two weeks, I got back on the same medication I had been on for the past year before that. It's definitely not a side effect of the medication.
Once when I was on a medication in the hospital, I had an experience that I thought a person was someone from my past, but in reality I knew they weren't. It was a time when I had suffered greatly & I believe medicine side effect. Are you taking anything new? Pamela
Most probably what you are describing sounds like psychosis
but you could ask your psychiatrist about the clinical specifics.
Hallucinations although usual auditory can occur in all 5 senses.
Also there can be (I was told I have these by my psychiatrist
a while back) what are called pseudo hallucinations
where a person knows they are not outside of them
but believes them in part. All of these concerns should
respond to medication so you can discuss what appropriate
follow up is with your psychiatrist if you are seeing one.
