I am thinking about switching from Geodon to Seroquel. But I am scared the Seroquel will give me tremors, because I am welder and I have to have really steady hands. if Seroquel causes me to have tremors will they go away after I stop taking it?

Temporary movement disorders from antipsychotics can often
be treated with a side effect pill within a psychiatrist's clinical discretion.
That would be worth asking about.

Geodon is the only antipsychotic I have taken. I went into a psychosis from drug withdrawals over a year ago so I am new to this

I have been on Geodon for 18 months and all of the sudden it made me to where I cant sit still and I started grinding my teeth a lot. I told my psychiatrist but he didn't take me off of it.

All antipsychotics have the potential to cause temporary and permanent  movement disorders. As regards temporary movement disorders a person's reaction can vary from one antipsychotic to another so if they change back the problem shouldn't occur.  Its best to let your psychiatrist know how you reacted to all past medications and also with any medication you are taking that has the potential to cause movement disorders when they occur and if there are any changes. You can ask your psychiatrist about the clinical specifics and further instructions.
