Implanon

Anyone else get low sex drive with implanon?  I swear I have noticed a decrease in sex drive.  I have been on it for one year.  I went to the doctor today and she wouldn't take it out for me!  She said she thinks it is for other reasons I have a low sex drive and wants me to try it for longer.  Other people out there with similar experience and what b/c do you try instead?  I have taken the pill in the past and it's been okay, just some mood swings.  I did take depo and I liked it a lot but it thinned out my bones so I had to stop.  I am iffy about IUD, I don't like the idea of something down there and haven't had kids and don't want the IUD to move.  Any ideas for me?

Any form of birth control can potentially cause lowered sex drive.  It's your body.  If the doctor won't remove it, then you can go to a different doctor or even bring a complaint against this one at his job.  He HAS to remove it if you tell him you want it removed.
