Birth control patch?

I'm wondering what kind of birth control I will use after I have my baby. I've been thinking alot about getting the patch because I know I will not remember to take the pill the way it should be take and do not want the shot due to the weight gain I got before when I used the shot. This seems like the best option for me. Has anyone else used the patch? What are you're thoughts on it? Will it stop your period or affect it at all?

I have been on the patch before I really liked it but I would get a ration to the glue by the end of the week. I still used it for a long time and new that I would react place it somewhere else and continue to swap places.
I have done the needle, pills and patch and I had fewer side effects with the patch and would go back on it again dispite the rash. It doesn't come off as u would expect.

My friend has the one you get inserted in your arm it lasts for 3 years. Personally I don't want that because I don't want to have to get a hole put in my arm to insert it. She said it was pretty painful for a little while.

I'm thinking about birth control too. I'm expecting my second baby and I want something that will keep me safe for at least three years.
I feel like no matter what I look up there are advantages and disadvantages to all types of birth control.
I had the shot before & I gained weight had mood swings and also didn't get a period.
I also don't want the pill for fear of forgetting!
I am definetly not interested in the nuvaring because I don't think I'll put it in right or afraid of it moving or falling off.
I won't get the iud because I've heard of crazy stories of it moving, having to get it surgically removed because it went in too far up or crazy pain plus mood swings.
I never heard of the patch so I don't know about that one, I also recently heard of something that can be placed in your arm..but I didn't get further info on that one yet either

I've been looking into an IUD, never had the patch personally (was afraid it'd fall off or something) but I know I wouldn't recommend the implanon/nexplanon implant or Nuvaring, the implant causes crazy side effects and Nuvaring doesn't stay in for anything!
