depo shot? Mirena? breastfeeding?

Well... I've been thinking maybe Mirena isn't for me.. I found a Facebook page of all this complains of this form,of birth control where they have t have it surgically removed.. so maybe not a good idea for me? ? I've heard sometimes the body rejects it And that in can move.. idk if the size of the penis matters but if it does.. then he might move it.. ?? I want to try the depo shot. Anyone,tried any of these two? Can I still breastfeed with the depo shot? Do u bleed ALOT? How bad does it affect hormones? ?

I hated the depo and I was trying cerazet whatever their called lol and I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd pregnancy before I found out I had a missed miscarriage and after my daughter in novemeber I wasn't on anything and when my bf mentioned going on conceptive  I was pregnant and I cried because I wanted a baby so bad after loosing 2 daughters and an early missed miscarriage I found out after having a period I think. I was pregnant got pregnant in April I've never got pregnant that quick before but I love my baby girl a lot but I hope you find the perfect 1 for you hun its hard to choose witch 1.

I had the depo three times. I ended up bleeding for over 8 months straight and was very depressed. I won't go near out now lol

I've tried the depo shot and I was bleeding none stop but that's all bit when I have my baby I'm gonna try birth control pills

My husband wants more children :( I said no more lol but of course I knew the consequences that one,night.. but I don't mind. I love my babies but after this bub no more lol @mreeah

They have little films you can carry around if you need to. Idk what we are doing but my husband doesn't want me to really go on birthcobtrol. Stopping them was miserable. Migraines, horrific cramps, blood pressure issues, and my periods were horrible.

I hear ya, i just turned 19 in May and this baby was pretty well planned, but we agreed a while ago no more babies for hopefully 5 years! We're to young to have babies back to back to back haha.

Omg I can't take pills everyday I forget:( and I once had a whole month of period with it.. x( But you took a low dose so I suppose is a good kind

I hate condoms too. Sometimes lol but sometimes you know, You get drunk, sh*tface and of course no condoms in hand! Lol so I need my backup plan. This is my second baby with my husband and I'm so young (20)lol I need to finish college and all that good stuff (x

I been on both. After my first baby i got on The depo shot I was on for almost 2 yrs I never had any periods but i still got pregnant while on the shot. It caused me to have complications with my pregnancy. After that pregnancy I got on Mirena (had it for almost a yr) and it moved and came out (so painful). After that I got on the pill and i think it's the best and I was on one that's was safe for breastfeeding even tho i wasnt breastfeeding any longer and I loved it no weight gain, periods on time and not heavy, and no major cramps.

Mirena is bad news. Can have allot of horrible sideffects. Depo wasn't to bad. People say they gained weight I personally didn't but weight gain is common with any birth control. I think I'm going to just attempt the spermacide route until we are sure that we are totally done. Maybe a year or so.

If you plan to breastfeed then you have to use progesterone contraceptives this is the  mini pill, depo shot, arm implant, or IUD
No cases of infants being affected by using these contraceptives and only 1 to 6% passes through breast milk.

I was on the depo for two almost three years I got on it right after my daughter was born literally the doc came in and gave it to me in the hospital lol I breast feed for three months after that so yes it is safe the only down fall I had was weight gain lol but I see thats not a problem with you lol my periods where regular and they didnt last very long my emotions were normal

Only 3months and that was the last bc I was on since 2012. Thats okay :-) doctors usually only inform us of the positives, lol

I'm not sure about breast feeding as I am a ftm. Sorry. But yeah no periods for either, was weird was about 3years all up without it. But I liked the mirena because as soon as it is out you dont have to worry. But the depo shot is still in your system for a long time. I only just got pregnant this year and havent been on bc since end of 12'
