Nervousness and anxiety after Depo shot?

I just recieved the depo-provera shot and am feeling very panicky and nervous and anxious. Is this side effect going to last the entire time the shot is in my body, or will I become more used to the drug and it will go away?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These side effects of the drug should become better in the next 3 months. If they persist then you can talk to your doctor regarding other birth control methods.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
