Can Neurobion reduce high potassium?

Hello to All
I visited the Hospital to see the Dr. and I was told my potassium is 5.7. The Dr. gave me neurobion and lax.. Is that going to reduce the potassium level?

Hi!
These medications will not lower the potassium levels. Lax is a stool softener and neurobion is a multi vitamin B. Please discuss this with your doctor.  A level of 5.7 is marginally high, but with electrolytes like potassium, a margiinal high at times can cause problems. Meanwhile limit salt intake, citrus fruits, potatoes, tomatoes, avocado, spinach, and juices of these. This should also lower the potassium levels. Take care!
