I was born with a arterial veinousmalformation (AVM) on my right arm. After many surgeries and a blood clot going to the lung I had my arm amputated. Fast forward 4 years I got pregnant had a beautiful baby girl, and found out during my pregnancy that I have factor 2. My doctor found out and dismissed it's importance (I replaced doctor) went on lovanax for the remainder of the pregnancy and did my research only to find out that I have Factor 2 mutation and that, though normally genetic, mine is congenital. I have to explain all of the risks and the over all disorder to my doctors even... I guess my question is, am I alone out here? My first pregnancy was supposed to be high risk, how worried should I be about having a second one? If mine is congenital and normally factor 2 is genetic, what are the chances of my kids getting it?
I'm 28 yrs old and my health has always been... interesting, to put it nicely. I just wanna know that all of my info isn't coming from the 3 kids doctor's studied in '93 in their huts. Lol please help.
