Can a brain tumor grow within 2 years?

I had a clear head MRI in March of 2009.  I am going for another in two weeks to see if my new symptoms (ear ringing and dizziness) is just aytypical migraine or something more serious.  What are the chances of a brain tumor surfacing,growing and causing these new symptoms in two years?

I never heard of it as an abortive med - I am on topamax (aka dopamax) and imitrex for the headaches that break through... I had only heard of the epilepsy/nerve meds for abortives...

Migraines can be nasty - cause a lot of symptoms... there is a community here just devoted to them.

Both the neuro and my family doc said Elavil is one of the best migraine preventatives out there even though it's also used as an antidepressant.  They also gave me something to use as an abortive.

If you have migraines, why are you on a depression medication? Usually the treatment for migraine is to take a preventative medication and one other to take if a headache breaks through.
I was thinking ENT for the dizzy and the smell - could be a deep sinus infection or ear issue.

Saw a neurologst on Nov 30 who is treating me as atypical migraine until my Jan 8 MRI results come back.  I am on 20mg of Elavil right now.  They dont think it's ears/nose/throat related.

I have had these symptoms steadily for 2 months along with phantom smells which make me worry.

Oh sure - there are some super fast growing cancerous tumors - but your symptoms don't fit for them so it is not worth really fretting over that.
Dizzy can be ears and circulatory issues - and my ears have rang since I was a kid... it is a pain but it a benign symptom
