You need a complete exam, as well as a check on your pituitary, adrenal, male/female and thyroid hormones IMHO,
If something else comes back abnormal, then they would have the justification to do an MRI and it should be done properly. You should get a dynamic MRI, with and without contrast and contrast while pics are taken. One test just does not tell the picture, nor does one set of tests.
As far as ranges go here they are by the lab that it was done at, tsh range is 0.450-4.500 my level is 0.022, t4 range 4.5-12.0 mine was 2.5, triiodothyronine, free, serum 2.3-4.2 mine was 1.5.
What other values do i need to have the endocrinologist do. I would like someone to do an mri of my head to see if i have an adenoma or not, but I'm sure that labs are the first thing she will do. My other symptoms are; 16 lb weight gain since Jan. ( unusual for me), extreme fatigue, dizziness, abd. weight gain, muscle weakness. Any advice you could give me would be helpful.
Thanks,
Vennboys
Yes... your readings are more like mine after pituitary surgery.
Did anyone run Free T4? Also, it is much easier to give ranges - while TSH is standard, the other ranges can vary by lab.
Were those the only tests run?
