Spidey Sense, but the bad kind.

Hi, everyone!

Sorry for the crazy title to this topic but it's the only way I can describe how I feel.

Every since I was young I would sometimes get this weird vibration thingy in my head.  When I was younger it use to last for a second, no more.  But as I'm growing older they seem to be happening more frequently, and lasting about 2-3 seconds.  One lasted about 5 seconds, and it was weird/bad.

I tend to notice that 95% of the time when I get these things there's a television, computer, headphones, or any other electronic device nearby.

The one time I had these weird vibrations I was sitting in the living room talking to my family.  Then it started.  It was so bad, I got off my seat and onto my knees on the floor holding my head.  My family looked at me like I was crazy.

I'm 24 years old, wtf can this be?  If anyone knows even the slightest bit, please tell me.  Also, I've had a rough childhood, but never hit my head hard... atleast not that I remember.  I now to suffer from stress from time to time, and have experienced a panic attack or two.  Only thing I can think of is maybe this is stress related.  Anyway, what do you guys think?

Ah yes, well stress is responsible for everything.

Stress could be a set off point, and the caffeine may not have helped - but I still would look at ears.

Thanks for the reply.  Hope you enjoyed your vacation, but one more day and there would've been riots!  :P

Okay, today at work, I experienced another one.  My job is going through some changes, and it's been stressful.  I sat there drinking coffee(which makes me a bit jittery), and talking about another stressful situation in my life.  All of a sudden, I felt it.  As I was talking I had to stop and hold my head(as if that's gonna stop it).

The person I was speaking to said it is most likely stress.  They were almost sure.  I will be looking into my ears along with my doctor.  But as of right now it does seem to point to stress... I do know for sure I have that.

Any thoughts?

Sorry, I am the CL but I was away on vacation. Sorry about the delay!

I am not sure about vibrations in the head - but could it be ear related - like a meniere's type attack thing? Ever get your ears checked?

Since it is hard to escape electronics, not sure if that is related to be honest.
