blurry vision in right eye after 2 pituitary tumor surgreys

hello..maybe someone has some suggestions or answers for me..but iam a 24 year old female that has had blurry vison in the right eye for almost 3 weeks also a migraine for 2 weeks..i have always seem to suffer from migraines but i have also had 2 pitutary tumors surgreys as well, my first when i was 14, and the second when i was 21,which my nero surgron and ent inserted i darinage tube( i guess you could call it) from the pitutary location where the tumors were that drains into the nasal cavity..which i have been doing fine with ,other than migraines..but my nero surgeon referred my to get another mri w/wo contrast..which he said looked fine..so he referred me to a nero opthalmatist in a few weeks..in the mean time i went to my local opthalmatist..which he said my vision itself it fine..but there are visiual changes..he said all he had to base it on was when i was 14 and i had a pitutary tumor ( which vision loss was 1 of my symtoms the first time..the second just headaches) which he said the changes showed it;s not a pitutary issues. no swelling.and eye pressure was fine..so he also referred me to the nero opthalmaltist..just kinda scared because this is somewhat a new symtom for me...if anyone has any suggestions for me in the mean time that would be great thanks

Fatigue may be a component - I know that I have muscle issues and it effects my eyes.

I also get the glare. Talk to the neuro-optho and see what he says.

I have bloodwork done quarterly. Most of my pit buddies have it done as often as me, or at least every six months. Once you are a pit patient, you are always one and must always be monitored for hormones are going to change. I for one change meds very frequently and have not been stable yet and my surgeries are quite a few years ago - so you really need to find a doc to follow you with some regularity IMHO.

The NO is looking for defects in the visual field - mine checks my entire eye and then I do visual field tests. He also checks my optic nerve to make sure the defect is not in my eye.

Why did you have an MRI without contrast? That is not the proper protocol. The proper way for a pit MRI, in fact, is with and without, as well as taking images while the contrast is given (called "dynamic") so you need to find a doctor who will order the proper imaging. Was your second MRI done this way? Did you get a copy of the scan and the report?

If you have already had 2 surgeries, I am going to assume that you have had recurrances. Have they done blood etc. testing to see if that is happening again?

I see a neuro-opthomologist every 6 months as my tumor has recurred - it is pretty normal for those with pit issues - so I would go and keep going.
