Congratulations on the pregnancy! I hope you can get your iron level up so it can improve your fatigue problem somewhat at least & maybe you can get to an opthamologist?
i am female and i wear glasses for reading its just a feeling that i had come on i know i have a low iron count as have just found out i am pregnant again
There um, seems to be a known blip with new people that makes them all male! Yikes. Medhelp is aware and working on that.
Lisa, you don't give us much information - like if you have been to any sort of doctor or had any check up of any kind. Eye issues can be eye, neuro, hormonal or a lot of things. You may actually have to see several types of doctors. Have you has a recent physical from your GP? A basic eye exam? Do you wear glasses?
Let us know.
Not sure if you are male or female, profile says male but nickname says lisa? If you are the mom dealing with five children while your husband is out working, that is a lot of stress on a person & stress can make a person feel very tired!
But I am concerned about the numbness and tiredness and wonder if you might be having minor TIAs. If you are currently experiencing this, a trip to the ER to get evaluated promptly is what I would suggest. If you are in between episodes, I would suggest you at least see a neurologist ASAP about this as well as horselip's suggestion of an opthamologist, given the blur in vision.
Is your blood pressure increased when you notice this numbness with stress? Also, low iron can cause great fatigue- have you had your ferritin and circulating iron levels checked lately? Even a person with a CBC that's normal can have low iron that can make a person VERY tired (experience).
Hi-
Have you ever seen a doctor for this? How often do you get stressed out to where this happens? Doubt that it is a brain tumor. You might start with an Ophthalmologist given that it makes your vision blurry. Could be as simple as you need glasses or it might be a type of migraine headache that is in the eye and treatable. When I am tired my headaches get worse.
Good luck!
