The beginning of a blood sugar problem is a possibility too. If you could test your blood glucose level at the time you are having an anxiety attack or racing pulse, and it is above normal, (60-70 I think) you might have a food allergy or an insulin regulation problem.

An MRI is a good thing to do, but don't worry about cancer. The majority of brain lesions are benign, tiny and harmless, and some disappear spontaneously. Think positive thoughts so that the rest of your body doesn't suffer!
Of course, if the MRI shows nothing wrong, then you're back to square one, to figure out what's going on. Maybe the big sigh of relief after the MRI will help!

You are NOT 108 years old!  LOL!  Yes, your symptoms could be anxiety related, but anxiety issues can be caused by adrenal hormone loss.
My son has secondary adrenal insufficiency, caused by pituitary hormone loss. His first symptoms included light sensitivity, slowed thinking, and depression from an intolerance to stress. The headaches and racing pulse came a little later.
Docs often say it's migraines with the headache\vision combo,  but migraines have many causes, including food allergies and hormone and mineral imbalances.
Do your symptoms happen always indoors, or outside as well? Chemical exposure could be a cause. Are your furnaces working properly?  How long have you actually been having the head pains?
