Breast Biopsy results taking too long
Why would biopsy be sent out for second opinion? I've been waiting almost two weeks for results.

Maybe you can get her to answer you in English. Funky has no medical meaning that I know of.
All Pathology Labs don't have the sophisticated equipment to do some testing and quite often specimens are sent to outside Labs for a particular test. I personally know that part of my specimen was sent to a Lab in California. In these cases it does take longer to get the final report. This is NOT unusual at all. Actually any report that you receive in less than 7 business days is good .... there are several steps between the OR and the final report being delivered to your Dr. Regards ..
